Hong Kong, China, April 4, 2018 /ChinaNewswire.com/ - The latest “Art in MTR” exhibition entitled “Places in My Heart: A Photographic Journey” will open tomorrow (5 April 2018) at MTR Sheung Wan and Sai Wan Ho stations and run until 2 July 2018. Featuring 15 amazing documentary photos taken by an outdoor enthusiast and amateur photographer, Mr C K Lee, the exhibition takes customers around the world to experience the thrill of scaling famous mountains under severe weather, the challenge of long-distance running through beautiful scenery and the silence of stargazing in forests.

“I have travelled to more than 70 countries over the years. I always tried my best to make contact with local residents to understand their unique cultures. This experience inspired me to gradually develop a passion for in-depth expeditions and adventures to discover social customs and cultures in different places and explore special landscapes,” said Mr Lee. “I hope my photos not only let MTR passengers experience my extraordinary voyages, but also raise their awareness on nature conservation,” he added.

MTR Corporation offers space at different MTR stations for temporary art exhibitions under the “Art in MTR” programme to promote artistic talent and the public’s appreciation of art. Interested artists and organisations may call the MTR Hotline on 2881 8888 to enquire, or submit their proposals directly to the MTR Corporation.
