Asos, one of the largest fashion e-commerce companies in Britain, revealed that their Chinese branch is finishing its final testing stage and its website will soon open.
The company said their Chinese-language website will initially provide clothing from 2,000 local brands. With a localized team of diverse background, the company will offer special delivery and payment solutions, Chinese-language customer services, as well as local retail partners. They said their initial testing shows all factors are functioning well.
They will reportedly invest GBP12 million to GBP18 million in the next three years to build exclusive distribution centers. They also said during the next six months, their international business focus is establishing and promoting Chinese business, while expanding in the U.K., U.S., France, Germany, and Russia.
