A lack of massive deals, those worth US$1 billion or more in China’s vibrant venture market, brought the Chinese VC market to a five-month low in August. A total of 277 VC financing deals worth an aggregate of US$4.86 billion were recorded in August, 2018, the lowest level since April, according to China Money Network’s China VC Tracker released today.
