Cheetah Mobile Inc., a Beijing-based mobile Internet company, has hired Vincent Jiang (pictured), the founder and CEO of mobile app development start-up Xiaoban Technology, as its company's chief financial officer.
Jiang will report directly to Cheetah's CEO Fu Sheng, and will be responsible for the company's financial and investor relations management.
Prior to Cheetah Mobile, Jiang founded Xiaoban in 2015, developing a mobile app which help parents find nearby classmates of their kids so they can help each other taking students to school and back. He previously worked as chief financial officer at an Internet finance company 9f Inc, as well as working for a New York-based law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Jiang holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School, and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Cheetah was founded in 2010 by Kingsoft Security and Keniu Yingxiang, a picture editing software company. The company's popular products include an antivirus app Clean Master, a battery maintenance app Battery Doctor, and a mobile game Piano Tiles 2.
It claimed 3.81 billion global installs across all products combined, and approximately 623 million mobile monthly active users in December 2016.
